Whys and Wherefores: Tripod had been included in an official Star Wars novel called 'Refugee',as Scod, Yon and 'Gaitzi', three members of an 'underground cleaning gang' called 'the Tripod'. The song, therefore, had to tell the story of Tripod's days as an underground cleaning gang in the Star Wars universe.
Also: It had to have Big Kev, Tripod's worst gig ever and lan Kiernan.
